I have the pleasure of being the mother of intelligent and funny 15 year old boy and girl twins. When my kids were little, we read before bed almost every night. I believe children have an amazing ability to learn and adapt. As a former Sunday School teacher, I believe that all children can be taught to be kind when exposed to positive role models and stories.

Kind-Hearted Kids
Because Kindness Matters

The Kind-Hearted Kids series is about a group of animal friends learning to be kind. Maddie the raccoon, Piper the cat, Oliver the duck, Emma the rabbit, and Jack the squirrel live in the same neighborhood and go to the same school. They are learning together how to help others and treat people with respect by learning to have a kind heart.

I’m thrilled to announce that I published my very first children’s book on Amazon on October 22, 2020! It’s called Kind-Hearted Kids: Maddie Goes to School, and it’s available in digital format through Kindle and in print format through Amazon.

Kind-Hearted Kids: Maddie Goes to School

Maddie Goes to School is about a raccoon that has to go to back to school during a global pandemic. She talks to her mom about her feelings, and she learns how to stay safe. Topics include social distancing, hand washing, and health protective equipment like masks and face shields.

Maddie Goes to School specifically focuses on the challenges faced as kids return to school during the pandemic and is suitable for children ages 3 and up. Please check it out especially if your children have anxiety about going back to school during the covid-19 pandemic.

This book was inspired by a conversation my 5-year-old niece, Dharcy who lives in the Philippines, had with her mother when it was time to go back to school.

Please check it out and review the book if you get a chance. Thanks so much in advance and ENJOY!
